It’s only a month away and already hundreds of Shluchim from around the world are gearing up for 'One Shabbat One World,' a Shabbos dedicated to Moshiach. In what they are anticipating as the largest turnout ever, Shluchim are encouraged to invite all to attend. “Last year over 300 shluchim joined and this year we’d like that number to be up by 100.” Rabbi Chaim Hershkowitz, director of the program said.“ But it’s not just about numbers, the Shabbaton is a great way for Shluchim to talk about Moshiach with its particular relevance to Shabbos.”

It’s only a month away and already hundreds of Shluchim from around the world are gearing up for ‘One Shabbat One World,’ a Shabbos dedicated to Moshiach.
”By observing Shabbat as one united Jewish people we have the ability to bring about the revelation of Moshiach.” Said Rabbi Moshe Wilansky, the Moshiach campaign chairman and Shliach to Portland, Maine.
The International Moshiach Campaign provides promotional and support materials and helps coordinate the efforts of shluchim around the world. This truly international Shabbaton is an inspiring experience for Jews of all ages and affiliations.
This year ‘One Shabbat One World’ will take place, G-d willing, on Shabbos Parshas B’shalach, January 29-30 / 14-15 Shvat 2010.
One Shabbat One World is an annual project of the Moshiach Campaign, a division of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch.
