‘No Jew Left Behind’ Torah Completed

The Aleph Institute’s “No Jew Left Behind Torah” Siyum Sefer Torah was celebrated Sunday, December 13th, the 2nd day of Chanukah, The Aleph Institute completed the Torah dedication that commenced in Morgantown West Virginia Federal Prison. This gave an opportunity for members of the wider community in South Florida, to participate in this ceremonial event which finalized the Torah.

Over 300 people attended, having the opportunity to participate. Customized certificates were handed out to all those that purchased letters.

Upon completion of the Torah David Schottenstein along with his son Ari had the honor of Glilah and Hagbah, which was followed by Hakofes.

Partaking in the event were David and Eda Schottenstein who sponsored the Torah in loving memory of Alta Shula Swerdlov, daughter of Rabbi Yossi and Hindel Swerdlov, and in loving memory of Rabbi Gavriel Noach and Rivka Holtzberg and all of the Mumbai Kedoshim.

The Miami event was also in honor of the birth of a baby boy to Yanky and Devorah Leah Andruiser. May he grow up to bring his parents much nachas.
