1000 Attend 12th Annual Chanukah on the River
S. ANTONIO, TX [CHI] — Over 500 people rode 12 boats adorned with Menorahs for a Chanukah Cruise at the 12th Annual Chanukah on the River celebration in Downtown S. Antonio on Sunday, the third night of Chanukah. They then joined another 500 people waiting at the outdoor Arneson River Theatre for a menorah lighting and concert with The 8th Day led by the Marcus brothers, a Jewish rock band from LA.
This was by far the largest turnout ever at this event which usually attracts between 700 and 800 people.
