Chabad of Valley BBQ Dinner and Scholarship Raffle
TARZANA, CA [CHI] — Chabad of Valley held a beautiful barbeque dinner Sunday evening at the Braemar Country Club. Celebrating the Gan Israel scholarship raffle with popular comedian Steve Mittleman.
People who purchased ten or more raffle tickets gathered at the country club, in the mountains of Tarzana, California and enjoyed the rolling hills, trees and plentiful blue sky that define the club.
Rabbi Josh Gordon, Executive Director of Chabad of the Valley started the program with a short Dvar Torah. There was a live performance by the “Rockin’ Rabbi”, also known as the “Father of Jewish Rock”, Avraham Rosenblum & Diaspora. Also performing was comedian Steve Mittleman, who entertained the guests with his humor.
