Sen. Lieberman to Deliver Keynote at the JLI Retreat
BROOKLYN, NY [CHI] — JLI’s National Jewish annual retreat is an opportunity for anyone seeking to explore their Jewish heritage to join together with fellow seekers and combine a restorative vacation with inspirational Torah learning. An impressive array of lecturers brings a wide range of perspectives in Jewish learning.
This year’s line-up of first-rate speakers includes Rabbi Manis Friedman, Rabbi J. Immanuel Shochet, Rabbi Yona Reiss, Rabbi Yossi Jacobson, Professor Jonathan Sarna, Rivkah Slonim, Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe, Rabbi Asher and Sara E. Crispe and Shimona Tzukernik. The keynote address will be given by Senator Joseph Lieberman. Avraham Fried will perform in a rousing concert on Thursday evening.
