As a result of years of preparation and intricate construction, the Mikvah of Chabad of Sacramento is at the final stages of completion. Designed and built with the amenities of the 21st century, the Mikvah combines thousands of years of Jewish tradition with luxurious pampering of present day standards. It promises to grant women an absolutely inspirational and incredible experience and Jewish Community is anxiously awaiting its completion.
The Chabad community of Sacramento has worked tirelessly to successfully raise most of the $600,000 for the construction of this state-of-the-art Mikvah facility. Despite our vigorous fundraising efforts, our mikvah is at a standstill due to the outstanding deficit of $50,000 needed to complete the finishing touches and finally open the doors of our beautiful, elegant, yet modern Mikvah.
With the generous support of Mr. Yingy and Gittie Bistritzky, The George and Pamela Rohr Family Foundation, and The Raitport Mikvah Foundation, our dream of a Mikvah is coming to fruition. Individuals around the world have taken part in this sacred mitzah and we now turn to you to request your participation as well. We know times are tough, we’re feeling it too and we therefore doubly appreciate all contributions! Please join us in the effort to enable thousands of women to begin fulfilling this mitzvah: Donate online, www.Sacjewishlife.org/donate.
