
National Jewish Retreat Moves East
GREENWICH, CT [CHI] — The JLI’s National Jewish Retreat moves to the eastern seaboard this year for its fourth annual event. The unique five-day learning and growth experience will take place August 11th through the 16th at the luxurious Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, just 45 minutes from New York City.
A panel of 30 international Jewish scholars will provide an atmosphere of thinking, learning and discussion. This year’s outstanding staff includes Rabbi Manis Friedman, Rabbi Yossi Jacobson, Rabbi Moshe Bryski, Dr. Jonathan Sarna and Professor Larry Schiffman, among others.
The retreat is an opportunity to refresh body and spirit with first class accommodations, Kosher cuisine and recreation along with a full schedule of 150 lectures and workshops. This year’s program will be highlighted with a Thursday night concert by Chassidic superstar, Avraham Fried.

I was at the Kinus ha schluchim convention in nyc in 2008. it rejuvenated my soul so much that i crave another dose. i am anticipating the JLI retreat in greenwich ct.i am looking forward to the
world class speakers and interaction with like minded jews.
My chabad rabbi and his wife will G”d willing be there so i
