New Kosher Cafe for Moscow
MOSCOW, Russia [FJC] — In the Moscow Jewish Community Center – the central attraction of the city’s historic Marina Roscha neighborhood – a new kosher dairy café has opened to the public.
This new dining venue plans to operate from Sunday through Thursday, with the obvious break for Shabbat. During work days, it is open for service from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, during which time the café offers a buffet for milk-based breakfast foods. From 1:30 to 10:00 PM, visitors are offered a variety of fresh dairy foods. The menu includes soups, cottage cheese pancakes (syrniki), salads, sandwiches, hachapuri, spaghetti, and many other meals.
While the Moscow JCC previously hosted a separate dairy restaurant, never before has there been such a large selection of pizzas, sushi, fish dishes, rolls, cheese and other dairy dishes. The Moscow Jewish Community Center also hosts the ‘Yona’ Restaurant, which, among its many delicious meals, is famous for its beef dishes and its meat wraps, which are also available for home delivery.
Apparently, with the new season also comes this change, which is certainly a positive one. The new Dairy Cafe is located on the first floor of the six-storey Moscow JCC, located at 5a 2nd Viysheslavtsev Pereulok.
