Shabbaton Entitled “Wine, Dine, Touch the Divine”

YARDLEY, PA [CHI] — Rabbi Yehuda Shemtov of Yardley, PA recently held a Shabbaton for his community in which over 100 people attended.

The title of the Shabbaton was “Wine, Dine, Touch the Divine”. He brought down a fellow Shliach who has an interesting and very informative wine presentation that combines wine and spirituality.

Rabbi Shmuel Lewis of Sparta, NJ (www.shmulilewis.com) led the group in exploring the fascinating world of wine, shared background information about many different wines (whilst everyone tasted them), and offered inspirational words and horoais for people to ponder.

According to Rabbi Shemtov, the presentation fully engaged ALL the participants and everyone loved it. Because there are so many different components, history, background information, ruchnios, and a few good glasses of wine (8 different types) everyone left happy.
