The Jewish Foundation for the Vision Impaired new campaign to brighten up New York
Rabbi Mendel Aisenbach, the Founder and Executive Director of the Jewish Foundation for the Vision Impaired since Nov. 2005, prepared for the visually impaired NYS new Governor David Paterson a “Mezuzah”, with the Governor’s initial “D” “P” raised in Braille on the Mezuzah case.
Due to NYS new governor David Paterson’s tight Schedule, the night before his orientation on March 17 2008, the new Governor senior adviser David Johnson received the Special Mezuzah on behalf of the NYS Governor David Paterson.
“Although Tomorrows new Governor is very cut up for the next while, to set up his new office, I will make it my opportunity to get his attention for this warm and thoughtful gift, something the NYS new Governor David Paterson will definitely enjoy, and will be ready for more”, said David Johnson.
The Jewish Foundation for the Vision Impaired serves the blind Jewish community throughout North America. “As the Executive Director, my objective is to share with them the Light of Torah and of Jewish tradition. The new NYS Governor David Paterson serves as A role model for us all, he is visually impaired, and focuses to brighten up himself and all of NY State as well, and I wish the new governor and his senior adviser lots of success…” said Rabbi Mendel Aisenbach, visiting from the West Coast. The Governor’s senior Adviser David Johnson, was extremely exited about the gift, during the very warm get-together.
