Crown Heights Shomrim has released an alert reminding the community to please be aware of electric scooters and their dangers.
Electric scooter use has grown exponentially within our community. While fast and convenient, they can also be dangerous to you and to others. Too often, electric scooter operators ride with abandon, totally disregarding pedestrians and others they share the roadway with, all too often tragically, it ends with a collision. Please follow traffic laws and street direction and pay extra attention to your surroundings,
ride safely.
