PSA: Clean The Ice From In Front Of Your Home
Clean the sidewalk of ice from in front of your home, the city is giving out tickets.
NYC Sanitation has given out more that 1,697 summonses to property owners for failing to remove snow and/or ice from in front of their home. In the words of the Sanitation Commissioner “there is no grace period. It’s a question of safety.”

If its a question of saftey the department of sanitation should spread out salt when they give the summons.

I don’t understand what the big deal is. The front of your house is your responsibility! Spread salt or get sued! Your choice!
