by CrownHeights.info
The National Weather Service has announced a Wind Advisory for parts of New York City as a cold front moves into the area Wednesday.
Starting from approximately 11:00am and going through approximately 9:00pm, Southwest winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts of up to 50 miles per hour are expected in Brooklyn and Queens.
The gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and bring down tree limbs, potentially causing local power outages.
“Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle,” the national Weather Service advised. “Secure outdoor objects.”
