PSA: Got Tickets? Pay Up Before You Get The Boot

by CrownHeights.info

A certain aspect of life in New York City is making a post COVID comeback, the unpaid ticket vehicle boot.

Residents noticed the sudden rise in vehicles being booted throughout Crown Heights from Utica Ave to New York Ave this week, with tens of vehicles getting locked overnight.

The boot “scofflaw” program places a locked device on the wheel of vehicles that have unpaid traffic tickets, requiring the owner to pay their fines before being given the combination to release them.

Don’t become the next booted car, pay your fines!
