PSA: High Wind Advisory For New York City

A high wind advisory is in effect for New York City from midnight Sunday through Monday morning at 8:00am.

According to the National Weather Service, Easterly winds will be 20 to 30mph with gusts up to 55mph.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the National Weather Service warned. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.”

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle, and secure outdoor objects.
