On Sunday, July 1, 2007 there will be a Hachnosas Sefer Torah in memory of Harav Shneur Zalman HaLevi Shagalov whose 1st yartzeit is Chof Alef Tammuz.
The writing of the final letters of the Sefer Torah will take place from 1:00 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Esther Shagalov, 820 Eastern Parkway followed by a joyous procession at 3:00 p.m. to the “Reb Zalman Shagalov Shul”, 499 Crown Street.

Rabbi Mendel Shagalov, Reb Zalman’s son dedicated the new shul in his memory to carry on the precious work of Ahavas Yisroel for which Reb Zalman was so well known.
