Released Time to Host Conference in Queens

With the coming school year on the horizon, Released Time program is happy to announce that it will I”YH be hosting a conference this upcoming Labor Day, September 1st.  It will be taking place in Queens, with the focus being to give the weekly instructors an opportunity to unite and revitalize.

The program will also include a seminar that will give the Bocherim vital tools in order to empower them to make this upcoming year of Released Time a real success.

The event will be open to all Bocherim studying in 770 who plan to participate in Released Time this upcoming school year.

It will begin with a gourmet brunch at Kehilas Sha’arei Rachamim, where Rabbi S.B Hecht, Chairman of Released Time, serves as Rabbi.

Following the brunch, the Bocherim will be participating in a seminar at Chabad J.C.C., run by Rabbi Mordy Hecht. The seminar will include workshops on how to structure a functional class as well as lesson planning; it will also include special presentations prepared for this event.

Following these informative presentations, a panel of notable Released Time instructors will share their thoughts and ideas on how to create a successful program for the over 50 Released Time Locations currently held In N.Y.C.

The day will conclude with a well-deserved barbecue supper for all of the Bocherim to enjoy.
