Oh please!!!
It’s coming up 18 years since nun-daled now. Are we still asking “what happened on gimmel tammuz?” Enough already! Stop confusing everybody with your ambiguity. We need clarity, Toras Emes, and reality, not these wishy-washy fantasies that our kids all know is bluff.

If what I write will prevent one teenager from freing out when he finds out he has been fooled then I have to write it. I heard personally from the biggest mind in Chabad, R’ Yael Kahn that histalkus kpshto, The Rebbe passed away in the simple meaning. Now comes along people to make a big kugel that according to Chassidus the Rebbe lives. And Who is the expert that talks about it? Rabbi Garelick? Rabbi Garelick is not the person to talk about gimmel Tammus. Why? Because he was the only person in the Chabad Chevrah Kadisha who did not come to participate in the Tahara of the Rebbe. I personally asked him about it and he admitted that it is true. And he is the one to speak about what happened? He was not even there. Enough is Enough, How much tzaros do we have from Chabad kids finding out they have been lied to. It hurts me to write this as I like Rabbi Garelick however he has crossed a red line. Rabbi Garelick come clean and simply say the truth

“What Happened on 3 Tammuz?”
There is a very simple answer to that question. A 92 year old man, known, revered and loved by millions of people around the world, passed away leaving a generation of orphans. His loss was and remains irreplaceable. That’s it! That the day in question was signified by other important events in the history of Am Yisroel and of the Rebbeim of Lubavitch in particular means that Unzer Tzadik had the zechus to have that day as his own Segula.

I PREFER RABBI GARELIK’S CHASSIDIC INSIGHTS ON THE REALITY & MEANING OF GIMMEL TAMUZ OVER YOUR UNFORTUNATE SKEPTICISM.
IF YOU HAVE GIVEN UP HOPE OF SEEING THE GEULA WITH THE REBBE LEADING THE WAY…DESPITE THE 18 YEARS THAT HAVE PASSED, THEN I TRULY HAVE RACHMONIS FOR YOU. PERHAPS WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING– THE LEAST OF WHICH IS TO “OPEN OUR EYES” TO SEE THE CHANGES WHICH ARE UNFOLDING, AND TO “SEE” WHAT WE MUST DO TO SPEED THE REVELATION. DO SOMETHING TO BRING PEACE TO CH; TO END THE MACHLOKIS; TO INCREASE OUR LEARNING OF THE REBBE’S DIRECTIVES; TO INCREASE OUR FAMILY’S BITOCHIN IN THE REBBE’S WORDS.
YOU CAN READ THE BOOK, “SCIENTIFIC THOUGHT IN MESSIANIC TIMES” FOR STARTERS. IT OFFERS SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATIONS WHICH ARE AT THE BASIS OF YOUR SKEPTICISM AND FRUSTRATION.
HERE’S HOPING THAT YOUR HOPELESSNESS BE TRANSFORMED INTO POSITIVE ACTION.

Why do weird people with weird ideas tend to like writing in ALL CAPS?
If I had to make up the perfect satire of a typical Meshichist post, I couldn’t have done better than you just did. You are a satire of yourself.

Gimmel Taamuz didn’t change a thing. Don’t you all know the song from camp. Now lets put this issue to bed already. NOTHING HAPPENED. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Please don’t try to confuse me with your facts.
Gimmel Tammuz is the Rebbe-s Yartzeit!!!
Is this multiple choice? What happened???
Are you for real #7? What’s with the Uppercase, so we can hear you scream Yechi?
Rabbi Garelik do everyone a favor & don’t talk riddles & confuse people & yes kids have fried out because of this “play on chassidus”.
Yep , 18 years ago a the Rebbe a great Tzaddik passed away, he’s buried at the Ohel next to the Frierdiker Rebbe, there’s a death certificate, there was Tahara & a burial.
Gimmel Tammuz is a Yartzeit, remember?
Why doesn’t the Rebbe deserve a Yartzeit?
Missed Point
Meshichistim argue for the literal interpretation of the Rambam to support their position that our Rebbe is Moshiach. I would argue that even under such interpretation our Rebbe could not be Moshiach. This is at least because the word “killed” inherently carries with it the word “dies,” given that it is not possible for someone who was killed, to continue living. The same thing can not be said about the word “dies.” Thus, I would argue that the Rambam closes the door to anyone who passes before completing the job, whether the candidate passes due to natural causes, or otherwise.
Moreover, even if you disagree with my reasoning, under a literal interpretation of the entirity of the Rambam’s hilchos melachim … our Rebbe clearly did NOT “… compel ALL OF ISRAEL to observe Torah.” Thus, our Rebbe does not even qualify to be presumed Moshiach, let alone the actual Moshiach!

Rabbi Garelik spoke about Gimmel Tamuz in the times of Yehoshua Ben Nun, the details of Shemesh Bgivon Dom, and went on to explain the Psukim in Tanach there that say such a day never happened before, and never will happen again.
Then he went on to explain, according to the Rambams Halachos of Kidush hachodesh, how the sun operates.
Then he went on to explain what the previous Rebbe and our Rebbe said about the day, he never mentioned Gimmel Tamuz 1994 EVEN ONCE, all you previous commenters, MUST find something useful to do with your time besides speculating what someone might have said!!!!!!!

That is an even greater disgrace. Our Rebbe’s yom hilulah is coming and he can’t even speak about it??? The poster says “hachonah for gimmel tammuz.” Now you tell me that it was a hachonah for remembering what happened in 2499 (Yehoshua and shemesh b’Givon) and in 5687 (the Frierdikker Rebbe’s geulah)?
That is absolutely outrageous!!! That’s like putting up a sign in Crown Heights saying “Hachona for 11 Nissan” and then you find out it’s a preparation for the yahrzeit of the Ramban (which 11 Nissan is, by the way.)
Puh-lease!
bcm got the point
grow up if u dont want to hear what rabbi garelik has to say then DONT GO! but u should just know that he knows more then in==u
the Rebbe does deserve a Yartzheit.
dear UPPERCASE,
You truly make a fool out of Chabad and yourself. you couldn’t, if you tried, sound more like someone from a cult.
