    I dont have the actual sefer to see if this is a mistake in the sefer itself, but quite a few of the pages end in mid-paragraph or sentence, and the next page starts a whole new topic.

    See for example pages.286 ,292 among other pages. can anyone who has the book check it out?

    The pages of the Chumash go from right to left (like a hebrew book), but the commentary runs from left to right (like an english book). So the commentary for 286 continues on 289.
