While enthusiastic audiences continue to rave about the Jewish Children’s Museum’s Maccabees adventure, the Museum is proud to announce the highly anticipated show Maccabees: The Women’s Story. Embark on a journey through ancient Judea where the stirring tales of Chanukah’s heroines spring to life through original song and creative dance routines.

With live actors leading the way, visitors Unite with Chana and her seven sons in their chilling exchange with King Antiochus; Discover the impact of the king’s decrees on Mrs. Judah Maccabee in a hilarious market scene; Encourage Yehudis in her heroic meeting with the evil Greek General Helifornus; and so much more.

Maccabees: The Women’s Story will show at the Museum

Wednesday evenings:
December 13, 27 & January 3
Show times: 8:00pm & 9:00pm

Motzoai Shabbos:
December 16, 30 & January 6th
Show times: 8:00pm & 9:00pm

Tickets: $15.00 (Complementary museum admission with ticket from 8:00 – 10:30)

    I just saw the show and it was really beautiful!!

    it was so touching and cute and funny and it really moved me. It made me laugh, cry and really gave me the chills at one point.

    Well done to all the young ladies involved!!! YOu did a wonderful job.Lots of credit to you. I think its so wonderful that girls and young ladies have an opportunity to be involved and express themselves through acting and singing. It looked like you were all having a great time!!!

    I recommend it to all! Enjoy! and thankyou to all the cast, crew directors etc for giving us such a great performance!!!
