amazing that on purim residents were ticketed right and left by PD for stupid, and minor violations, and on labor day cars parked by pumps, driveways, and any hole possible, are not even looked at by PD, much less ticketed.
DISCRIMINATION
Isn’t is so interesting that all these "visitors" are parked in pumps, crosswalks, and double parked. Are they getting tickets? I challenge anyone to find an illegally parked car with a ticket on it.
ANYONE REMEMBER PURIM???
sam
Parking meter rules are still in effect today. I saw them going down 13th avenue in Boro Park and giving out tickets.
heyyyyyyyyy
yeah, dont go on the subway .. just stay home. it’s safer!
sick and tired of this
I was not allowed to pass empire and kingston even after showing my license proving that i live on kingston avenue

You know what, when all is said and done, the Jewish community blocks the streets way more times than just once a year. It’s only fair that our neighbors should have their festival ONCE a year.
Chaim
Labor day is "Matta Shira Vezimra" of the black community. Kutty Rapp has 10 members in his "matta" and the Shvartza have one million members in their "Matta" – I guess they are the majority!
fed up
look at these animals……….they can park wherever they want on labor day including bus shelters and drive ways but if someone chas vshalom double parks on purim for half a second theres already a cop jumping on them with a ticket………..this should defintiely be mentioned to the 71 precient…….i think were all fed up
Eliezar
Former Vaad’man Chanina screwed up the parade situation with the NYPD when he insisted on the Yud Alef Nissan concert on Eastern 2 years ago. The Police were fed up with his hardball tactics and restricted the concert back a bit. Chanina threatened retaliation against the Police, but it was a lot of hot air.
CHster
Animals! They’re running around wearing nothing but flags clutching boom boxes and dancing anywhere and everywhere– and the cars are blasting music too– of course each person/car is blasting a different radio station resulting in nothing but a headache! They could at least have enough achdus to pick the same radio station, but BH they don’t because then maybe they would also be united in mugging us in the streets– and chas vesholem do more damage! Oy, Hashem should help!
awacs
".this should defintiely be mentioned to the 71 precient."
Who will start ignoring it right away.
Oh, it’s "precinct."
point
the fact that they can park where they like is not a problem with them its a problem with our realtion with our police dept
goyish yid in ch
fed up – your comments are totally racist. WHy animals? And we don’t have our share of animals??? huh??
Besides we do have many days off and all and as another stated above millions mnarching is very different then 25,000 folks.
I know, I know….just don’t go knocking others and all…
keeps the kids indoors
The smells, the sights, the mess…it’s not Simchas Bais Sho’eva. It’s a disgrace our children have to see this every year. Can’t they go to Harlem?
I pray for rain.
Oxymoron, Like farther-s day
I didn’t think there were so many police in New York! And they all had orders not to enforce the law. It reminds me of the crown hights riots.
Hey Happy Laborday mon!
Disgusted in CH
And the newscasters only interviewed these animals. They should ask the residents of CH what they think about this zoo on LD and why no other community has to put up with this as we do!
ch-er
woa, i live around the corner from the parade. yeah, it’s an inconvenience, and it can be very annoying, but it’s only one day a year. i dont think it’s such a big deal. you should all relax a bit.
