Crown Heights Vacation? – Summer Classes for Women!

Staying in Crown Heights this summer? We’ve Got a Vacation for You!

Some people have rented a bungalow and some are going up to their summer homes to enjoy the country air; some may be flying out of town to visit parents or children; and some may be touring Israel or Europe. But for all the women staying in CH this summer – The Bayit has a great vacation for you!

Vacation Crown Heights!

That’s right! It may not sound as exotic as a travel brochure to Tahiti, but last summer, Vacation Crown Heights proved to be an exciting adventure for more than 150 women! This summer, the excitement continues to grow!

Look at what you can experience and achieve:

Master the art of being the perfect balaboste by attending exciting and innovative workshops in setting a beautiful table, making Shabbos in two hours; the art of salads; cake decorating; learn how to do a complete makeover; pick up some sheitel tips; learn how to manage on a shoestring budget; make time for self-management: taking care of “me.”

Brush up on your learning by delving into deep ma’amorim or by engaging in motivational sichos relating to women; by finally getting halachos down pat (Shabbos and Birkas Hanehenin), and by learning how to daven with kavana! Plumb into the depths of deeply spiritual questions regarding techiyas hamesim; finding the chassidishe “me”; bringing kedusha into marriage; why bad things happen to good people; the Rebbe’s views on women; chinuch in the eyes of the Rebbeim; anticipating the redemption; miracles in the time of Moshiach; how to give Tzedakah; nurturing a love for tznius.

Learn how to build and sustain healthy relationships; learn how to feel your feelings and express them safely. Sharpen your parenting skills: learn kosher child-rearing skills; learn how to instill a love of Torah in your child; learn the art of routines: managing mealtime, bedtime and the 4-7 rush hour; learn how to channel the behavior of the defiant child; how to use positive discipline; how to build self-esteem for ourselves and our children; how to survive the shidduch stage of parenting; how to take control of our homes.

Shabbos workshops include topics of chinuch, relationships and inner growth: Teaching Derech Eretz, Inculcating Chesed, Midos Tovos, Teshuva, Raising a Tamim, Keeping Kids Around the Shabbos Table; Shul Time and Home Time: a Chinuch Experience; Facing Challenges, Going from My Space to Hashem’s Space, My Role in the Home; My Role in The World: the Balancing Act; Have Faith and Be Happy; Dealing with Disappointment through Simcha; Understanding Expectations; Who Am I and Am I Who I Want to Be? Mothers and Daughters; Do I Truly Understand Her? Building a Bond; Life Isn’t Easy, But I Keep Smiling; Hiskashrus Yesterday and Today, Is the Rebbe My Rebbe?

You can’t come in the morning?- We’ve got classes in the evenings as well! Married or single, in your twenties or sixties (and of course anyone in between) – we’ve got courses, workshops and classes for every age, stage and interest.

Enjoy the opportunity to make new friends; find mashpiim and chavrusos and build relationships that will enrich your life and bring a smile to your face.
