Annual Siyum HaRambam at Oholei Torah
Tonight, Sunday, the annual Siyum HaRambam will take place at 8:00pm in the Oholei Torah ballroom in Crown Heights. The large event is held every year, with many Rabbi’s from around the world participating.
This year the event will mark the completion of daily Rambam study for the 28th time. Those who study three chapters a day of the Rambam’s Mishnah Torah and those who study the Sefer Hamitzvos daily, complete this years cycle.
As the event marks the completion the 28th cycle of study, it also marks the beginning of studying the 29th cycle.
The Rebbe instituted the daily studying of the Rambam’s Mishnah Torah in 1984 and encouraged people everywhere to learn the code.
The event will have seating available for women.
The Siyum will IYH take place tonight, Sunday at 8:00pm in the Oholei Torah ballroom, 667 Eastern Pkwy [between Brooklyn and New York Ave]
