PSA: Father & Son Learning Program Starting Motzai Shabbos

Avos Ubanim International and the Igud Menahalei Yeshivos are proud to announce the official launching of this year’s Father & Son learning program.

Fathers! Here is a golden opportunity to spend quality time with your son! Join many other fathers and sons as they gather for an hour of learning and quality time. The Kol Torah is contagious!

The program takes place every Motzoei Shabbos from 7:00PM to 8:00PM and is supervised by experienced Mechanchim.

Admission is free, and there are great prizes, incentives, awards and raffles for all those who attend. Please make sure to bring your own Seforim. As an added incentive this year, there each participant will receive a special Adventure Board-Game and earn cards each week to advance in the game.

If you would like to sponsor an evening of Avos Ubanim, please contact Rabbi L Newman of Igud Menahalei Yeshivos.

  • SENSITIVITY, PLEASE!

There is a children’s book from Judaica World Press called “Sensitivity, Please!” by Yehudis Leiter which speaks exactly to this matter of how insensitive an event named “Fathers & Sons” is to one whose father was niftar (and the same goes for Mothers & Daughters events).
It’s time to rename this event!
