For nearly a year the Lubavitch community has been mourning the tragic loss of Chana (Raskin) Wolwosky OBM. As her first Yartzeit approaches, a community in California will be honoring her legacy.

This coming sunday, the Chabad Jewish center of Rancho Santa Fe will be concluding the community's first Sefer Torah, dedicated in loving memory of Chana. How appropriate an honor for a young lady who spent the last years of her short life teaching Torah to children.

Torah in Memory of Chana (Raskin) Wolwosky

For nearly a year the Lubavitch community has been mourning the tragic loss of Chana (Raskin) Wolwosky OBM. As her first Yartzeit approaches, a community in California will be honoring her legacy.

This coming sunday, the Chabad Jewish center of Rancho Santa Fe will be concluding the community’s first Sefer Torah, dedicated in loving memory of Chana. How appropriate an honor for a young lady who spent the last years of her short life teaching Torah to children.

Sunday’s event is newsworthy, not too long ago, Jews could not buy homes in Rancho Santa Fe. Today, many Jewish families call RSF home, and the Chabad house is their Jewish resource.

On sunday, the entire community will gather to pay tribute to Chana OBM, as well as dedicate a Torah, and themselves to its study and honor.

Please join us by acquiring a letter, word, or Parsha, of the Rancho Santa Fe community Torah scroll, in loving memory of Chana (Raskin) Wolwosky.
