Photogrophers Etequit
Photogrophers, in Crown Heights, need to learn a little Derech Eretz, Common Sense and some Mentchlechkiet.
If you ever observed a real professional photographer, photographing an event which is ON STAGE and the crowd is below viewing – a real professional never behaves like a MORON to walk ON STAGE right behind the speaker, in everyone view, to catch a good shot.
It’s just not normal!
Photogrophers are there to be as unobtrusive as possible to capture the event and not to be “IN YOUR FACE” right on top of the peak focal point of the event.
The focal point of a Chanuka Rally is not the juggler nor the clown but the Menorah.
While thousands of eyes are glued, starring at the menorah, they don’t need to see One photographer with his tripod mounted camera exactly 3 inches away, to the left of the Menorah “IN YOUR FACE” and another free roaming on foot photographer running back and forth, within 2 inches of the right side of the menorah, while Chazan Teleshevsky is making the Bracha.
Didn’t anyone ever hear of “Abisel Mentchelechkiet”?
It’s not nice and very disrespectful of the viewing crowd to be so IN YOUR FACE.
You can get the same good photo shots without moving within the Field of view of the primary focus of everyones attention.
NEVER EVER walk behind the subject being photographed while you know that you are not the only photographer and others don’t need to see, YOU and your camera, in their field of view, photo.
Todays event in 770 must have been photographed a dozen or more photographers. There is no reason why all news photographers, all Capturing the same moment, while Telshevsky is making the Bracha, have to see Mr T. 3 inches to the left of the menorah and another free roaming photographer, running around, back and forth, to the right, of the menorah, ALL THE TIME.
unreal!
This was an incredible event! Beautiful to watch the achdus! I am sure the children brought Moshiach closer!

I couldent agree with you more! The Israeli photographers are the worst, they can be so obnoxiuse! But I must make a comment, webby is a pleasant photographer, he is never in your face, and I often wonder where was at events and then we get this really amazing set of pictures afterwards.
Thank you CHI for keep on top of everything in a pleasant and onobtrusive fasion, it doesnt go unnoticed!
