JEM is asking for your help with a video about the Rebbe’s sensitivity and thoughtfulness to the needs of others.
The My Encounter with the Rebbe video is scheduled to be released in eight weeks, and we’re looking for any stories that highlight this beautiful part of the Rebbe’s personality.
New Video on the Way from JEM – Please Help
JEM is asking for your help with a video about the Rebbe’s sensitivity and thoughtfulness to the needs of others.
The My Encounter with the Rebbe video is scheduled to be released in eight weeks, and we’re looking for any stories that highlight this beautiful part of the Rebbe’s personality.
Some of the stories that we’ve already gathered for this video include:
– Asking a Yosom in Yechidus if he bought his Kallah a gift, and then lending him the money to buy one.
– Explaining to someone that he feels a Jew’s pain like a parent feels his child teething.
– Telling a mother of a toddler who wouldn’t eat how to mash bananas and milk for her child, then checking later whether the baby started eating.
We’re looking for more stories in a similar light. Things that highlight kindness, caring for an individual or helping someone with a personal need. How the Rebbe would realize someone who no one else noticed needs help or think of a problem that never dawned on others.
Please take part in this compelling project. If you have an idea or a lead, even (or especially) if it involves someone “outside Lubavitch,” please send us an e-mail at ycagen@jemedia.org.
