Long before Al Michaels uttered those famous words in disbelief of an unbelievable upset during a hockey game in the midst of the cold war (USA defeats USSR in 1980), Judah Macabe was leading a revolt against the great and mighty Hellenist army (Jews defeat Greeks in 164 BCE).

Not until now has there been a true connection to the “MIRACLE ON ICE”.

Witness HISTORY at the Nassau Coliseum as CHABAD of WEST HEMPSTEAD will light the Chanukah Menorah during a NY Islanders hockey game, the on ice action will be stopped. All in attendance will know of the wondrous miracles performed AGAINST ALL ODDS to insure RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, as we will joyously PUBLICIZE THE MIRACLE, … ON ICE!

Answer “Amen” to the B’rachot recited over the PA system and displayed on the scoreboard for all to see and hear! Sing-along to Maoz Tzur!
