Hundreds Attend Private Concert For Bais Rivkah, Celebrating Teachers Who Build
Hundreds of women and girls came together Sunday night for a Bais Rivkah concert event filled with energy, simcha, and a real sense of achdus. The evening served as the kickoff to Bais Rivkah’s upcoming Charidy campaign, and it felt like the kind of night that reminds you what this community is. It shows up, and it knows how to come together.
Due to the tremendous turnout, Bais Rivkah hosted two separate concerts for students and their mothers, allowing everyone to attend comfortably. Across both performances, over 1,400 attended, filling the room with energy and simcha.
Mrs. Chani Minkowitz, a parent and seventh-grade teacher, opened the evening with Tehillim, followed by principal Mrs. Esther Wilhelm, who encouraged mothers and students to reach out with a message of appreciation to the educators who shape their daughters each day. A student choir, led by Mrs. Fraida Grossman, performed “Thank You Dear Morah,” adding a heartfelt highlight to the program. The excitement continued to build as singer Shaindy Plotzker entered the room. From Head Start through eighth grade, every girl had a chance to be on stage, and the dancing and joy carried throughout the concert.
The audience included many mothers and daughters, along with a strong presence of teachers. The atmosphere was joyful throughout, with dancing and genuine excitement. The production was on a high level, adding to the feeling that this was more than a program. It was a celebration.
And that celebration had a clear focus.
This year’s theme is “Celebrating Teachers Who Build,” and last night brought that message to life. In Bais Rivkah, teachers do far more than teach lessons. They build students. They build confidence and maturity. They build a love for Torah and mitzvos, and they shape the kind of young woman who will build her own home and go on to bring light to others as well.
Last night was Bais Rivkah’s way of saying thank you. Not with speeches, but with simcha. Mothers, daughters, and teachers celebrating together, with real appreciation for what happens in Bais Rivkah every day.
The concert also set the tone for the campaign ahead. Bais Rivkah’s Charidy campaign will take place March 16–17, with a goal of $1,000,000 in 48 hours. Every donation will be doubled through a 2x match. The funds will support the next phase of building, creating the space needed to serve more students and strengthen the school for the future.
