Lubavitcher Yeshiva Celebrates Yud Tes Kislev With Expo and Chassidishe Farbrengens
Tomchei Temimim marked Yud Tes Kislev with a day of chassidishe celebration felt throughout every division of the yeshiva. The highlight was the Yud Tes Kislev Expo, created by a Kita Zayin class who completed a remarkable mivtza of learning 200 perakim Mishnayos and 50 perakim Tanya Baal Peh.
After reaching their goal, the boys produced an outstanding presentation, performing seven shows throughout the day so every class could experience it. The expo brought the Alter Rebbe’s story to life in a memorable way.
The early childhood division had a beautiful Farbrengen celebrating the Alter Rebbe. They said the Pessukim, danced and made a Lechaim!
The Preschool had a special breakfast Farbrengen with tables decorated by handmade Tanya-themed centerpieces. The children sang Pesukim and niggunim, enjoyed an interactive storytime with life-size props, and each wrote a letter to the Rebbe. The program ended with a lively L’Chaim and dancing.
Leading up to Yud Tes Kislev, the talmidim of Pre1A- Gimmel spent time both in class and at home learning the story of the Alter Rebbe’s geulah and its lessons. By the time they entered Yeshiva on the day of, the air was already filled with Yud Tes Kislev. A special breakfast and a lavish seudah set the tone, which soon turned into lebedike dancing, a game show, and the unique Kita Zayin performance that captured the spirit of the day.
Kitos Daled through Vov enjoyed a fleishig Yom Tov seudah followed by a presentation on the Alter Rebbe’s arrest and geulah. The boys then learned a sicha in chavrusa, followed by a Davening Mivtza auction and renewed chayus in the 12 Pesukim initiative. A special treat ended the day on a high note.
In Mechina, talmidim farbrenged with Rabbi Pholle Dubov and later with Rabbi Shmuli Butler, concluding the night with a visit to 770, where the Farbrengen continued with real chassidishe varemkeit.
Throughout the day, talmidim enjoyed Farbrengens, a special breakfast, dancing, a game show, and the Expo, bringing the joy and meaning of Yud Tes Kislev wherever they went.
Yud Tes Kislev at Tomchei Temimim was a day filled with learning, joy, and genuine chayus, one that uplifted every talmid and strengthened their hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
