Shiur Daled Beis Medrash at Oholei Torah Continues Its Record-Breaking Growth
Shiur Daled Beis Medrash Oholei Torah has begun a new zman with record-breaking enrollment once again, continuing its remarkable growth from year to year. With over 370 talmidim filling the zal, the Yeshiva has expanded its staff and facilities to meet the needs of its ever-growing student body. Oholei Torah proudly stands as the flagship Yeshiva for bochurim striving to grow in Nigleh, Chassidus, and Chassidishe hanhogo.
Under the leadership of Menahel Rabbi Elchonon Lesches, the Zal’s team of devoted mechanchim continues to expand, growing in both number and caliber to meet the needs of its ever-increasing body of talmidim.
Oholei Torah is privileged to welcome Rabbi Avrohom Shneersohn alongside our distinguished Roshei Yeshiva Rabbi Avrohom Chaim Stern and Rabbi Dov Popack who joined last year, as well as Rabbi Fishel Oster, Rabbi Avrohom Gerlitzky, Rabbi Shlomo Hurwitz, Rabbi Mendel Wolvovsky, and Rosh Hayeshiva Rabbi Shlomo Kaplan.
The same devoted team of Mashpiim continues to inspire and guide the bochurim with their warmth and dedication, including Rabbi Nachman Shapiro, Rabbi Schneur Zalman Vilenkin, Rabbi Shalom Charitonow, Rabbi Mendel Mochkin, Rabbi Yekusiel Feldman, Rabbi Shmuel Shur, and Rabbi Sholom Korf.
Our team of respected Meishivim has expanded as well to include Rabbi Nochum Chaikin and Rabbi Yisroel Krasnianski, who will be joining Rabbi Yehoshua Blasenstein and Rabbi Yosef Schmukler as Meishivim for Nigleh. In addition, Rabbi Mendel Hendel has joined Rabbi Mendel Eidelman as Meishiv for Chassidus Erev, further enriching the program with greater depth and breadth.
Additional Mashgichim, Rabbi Yehuda Banda and Rabbi Shmuel Pevzner, have joined the faculty as well, alongside Rabbi Tzemach Zirkind, to further support the bochurim’s ruchnius and gashmius development.
Menahel K’lali Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig and Roish Moissed Rabbi Mendel Blau, together with the Board of Directors, have worked diligently in preparing for this zman, ensuring that the Zal remains a nurturing and inspiring environment for every talmid. To accommodate the record enrollment, additional dormitory housing has also been arranged, ensuring that every talmid is provided with comfortable and suitable living space alongside his studies. As the new zman begins, the talmidim are poised to immerse themselves fully in their studies and to carry forward the proud tradition of chinuch that Oholei Torah so strongly represents.
With these remarkable additions and the unprecedented enrollment, Beis Medrash Oholei Torah continues to lead as a beacon of Chassidishe chinuch. The Yeshiva looks forward to a year filled with limud haTorah, chayus in Chassidus, and true Hatzlacha for every talmid.
