Hatzalah of Crown Heights Clears Final Hurdles for New Headquarters

For an organization that prides itself on rapid response times, Hatzalah of Crown Heights is not accustomed to long delays. But when it comes to constructing a new building in New York City, red tape and roadblocks are inevitable. After months of legal proceedings and navigating legal hurdles, the final major obstacle has now been cleared—BH, the last remaining squatter has just been successfully evicted from the property. Crews were seen immediately putting up a construction fence across the newly evicted properties, and a construction crew started preparing for the next step of demolition.

With this significant milestone behind them, the path is finally open for progress. The long-awaited building permits have been officially approved, and the team is now finalizing the last logistical steps needed to proceed with demolition. Once the current structure is removed, work can begin on the new, state-of-the-art facility that will serve as the future headquarters for Hatzalah’s life-saving operations.

This project represents a major investment in the community’s safety and well-being, ensuring that Hatzalah has the resources and space they need to continue their vital work. Stay tuned as the next phase of construction takes shape!
