Hundreds March In Unity From 770 To Brooklyn Museum

by CownHeights.info

From Eastern Parkway and Kingston Ave to the Brooklyn Museum hundreds of Jewish people marched Tuesday in unity to stand firm and proclaim Am Yisroel Chai.

“It has been a year since the tragic massacre of October 7th, which unleashed unprecedented Jew hatred in our city and around the world,” the organizers of the march said. “The belief that such hatred could never happen here has been forever changed.”

Holding signs proclaiming Jewish pride and solidarity with the hostages held by Hamas since October 7th, men, women, and children completed the Unity Walk with heads held high.

Speaking at the event was Rabbi Yaacov Behrman, one of the walk’s organizers as well as public figures including NYC Councilman Kalman Yager.

“Our message is for Jews to stand tall, strong, and proud of their heritage”, said Mr. Sam Stern, a Crown Heights community activist as well as an organizaer of the walk.

Special thanks goes to Mr. Sam Stern, Menachem Light, Rabbi Yaacov Behrman, Shaya Gordon, Yosef Lewis, Shmuel Kopfstein, Rabbi Mendy Hershkop, Shlomie Hecht, and Rabbi Lazer Avtzon for making this walk a success.

TALUCHA on the Jewish Date = Simchas Torah in Eretz Yisroel, and Shemini Atzeres in the US.
I think there should be an effort to increase the number of participants in the Talucha.
And in honor of the Jewish victims – the dancing should be more enthusiastic than usual.
To really show unity – more Shuls should be visited – even those previously shy of Chabad.
