YK Yerushalayim Announces Staff For Summer 5784
YKY opened six years ago, offering a unique experience of spending a summer in the heart of Yerushalayim with a full schedule of learning, trips, and experiences. The program has immediately gained tremendous success and over the last years continued to grow and enhance its experiences.
During COVID, the program relocated to Cozumel, Mexico, and is now doing it again due to the safety concerns involved in making a program in Israel this year. Cozumel, an island in the Caribbean, offers incredible options for trips and learning, while being involved in the activities of the local Chabad.
The program is led by mechanchim Rabbi Shmuel Schneerson and Rabbi Yosef Avtzon, both with decades of experience in the field of education.
They will be joined by a group of staff members, dedicated and chassidishe Bohcurim who will serve as Maggidei Shiurim and counselors. Those are: Dovid Geisinsky of Great Neck, Zalmi Greenbaum of Los Angeles, Sholom Hertz of Chicago, Sholom Lerman of CH, and Dovy Wilhelm of Monsey.
