Simchas Beis Hashueva in Boro Park

BOROUGH PARK, Brooklyn [CHI] — 13th Avenue, one of Borough Parks main streets, was closed to traffic for a gala Simchas Beis Hashoeva event. Thousands of Yiddishe residents all danced and sang together, celebrating Simcahs Bais Hashueva.

This is the third year that the Chabad House in Borough Park, under the directorship of Rabbi Aaron Ginsberg, organized such an event.

Rabbi Ginsberg, Kol Hakovod to you! Standing on 13th Avenue and watching the beautiful Achdus created as Chassidim in Shtreimlech, Lubavitcher Bochrim,Litvishe Yeshiva Bochrim and long haired Kippot Srugot wearers were all holding hands and dancing in one circle made my heart swell with Lubavitch pride! Everyone felt they belonged! What a Kiddush Lubavitch! By midnight the sidewalk was still packed with young women with carriages and full families of little kinderlach enjoying a beautiful and meaningful Simchas Yom Tov! It was absolutely amazing to witness!
