Crown Heights Hatzalah Ambulance Receives Upgrade

by CrownHeights.info

Forever investing to better to serve the Crown Heights community, Crown Heights Hatzalah gave one of its ambulances a well deserved upgrade.

Designated as CH-902, one of the two ambulances that sit proudly in front of 770, the ambulance returned from a short visit to the workshop mounted with a brand new, state of the art, self loading stretcher.

Donated by Nella and Evan Presser in memory of Mrs. Rita Zayats of blessed memory, the $40,000+ upgrade brings the number of self loading “Power” stretchers in the Crown Heights Hatzalah fleet to two, bringing added safety, comfort, and ease to the life saving organization. The upgrade also helps reduce the risk of a debilitating back injury for the Hatzalah volunteers.

The first Crown Heights Hatzalah ambulance to receive a self loading stretcher was CH-905, the newest of Hatzalah’s ambulances which sits in front of Empire Shtiebl. The success of the self loading stretcher prompted the installation in a second Crown Heights ambulance, with more iy”h on the way.
