Gun Discovered Behind Crown Heights Building

Crown Heights Shomrim received a call Thursday afternoon after a local office found a gun stashed away behind their building.

The buildings occupants were surprised to discover the gun, found covered in rust and in two pieces.

Shomrim volunteers responded to the address and secured the firearm until the police arrived.

An NYPD Special Operations Unit came to investigate the gun, and see if it could be connected to a crime.
