Three Jewish Schools Close Over Coronavirus Fears (UPDATED)

Two Westchester Jewish schools and another in Riverdale have notified parents that their schools will be closed Tuesday, over a local suspected coronavirus case.

According to YeshivaWorldNews who broke the story, the three schools that closed for the day were the Salanter Akiba Riverdale Academy, Westchester Day School and Westchester Torah Academy.

The scare surrounds a parent of the Riverdale Academy, who contracted the virus and is presently hospitalized.

Update: The Jewish man with Coronavirus has been named as Eliezer Yitzchok ben Shifra, a 50 year old man who lives in New Rochelle and works in Manhattan. He is presently quarantined in a hospital in New York City.
