Thousands Participate in Last Hakhel Event of the Year
Despite a persistent threat of rain, thousands turned out and filled the parkway area in front of 770 for an hour and a half of musical entertainment in the spirit of Hakhel – the last time it would be possible in this calendar year.
A fifteen piece orchestra conducted by Avremi G, led by Choni Milecki, and accompanied by various entertainers such as Yossi Cohen, the Kapelia, Fitche Benshimon, a brand new children’s choir, Benny Friedman, and Chaim Fogelman featured the evenings musical entertainment.

There is another Hakhel event is Bnos Menachem today and I know of one on Shabboss too, so don’t brand it the last one of the year. I doubt the rebbe would approve that title.
