500 Shluchim Held up at Russia-Belarus Border
The over 500 Shluchim from all over Europe taking part in the regional Kinus currently taking place in Russia and other former USSR countries were held up at the border between the countries of Russia and Belarus by border police.
The Shluchim were traveling from the town of Lubavitch, located in Russia about a mile away from the Belarus border, on their way to visit the towns of Liozna and Liadi in Belarus.
When they arrived at the border crossing, the authorities would not allow them to pass through, since it was an ‘unofficial crossing.’
The Shluchim did not despair from the situation; rather they reacted with joy, singing, dancing and l’chaim.
A few phone calls from the Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar to higher ups in Moscow resolved the situation in a short amount of time, and the Shluchim continued on their journey.

Border
Kinda like dealing with border patrol between The US & Montreal, but I guess here its a lot worse bec Europe is different than the US & Canada, way different, at least @ the US & Montreal border u can come up with ideas, how to work around things, Europe who knows, it’s a different country & content all together.
