Fathers Join Sons for Melava Malka at ULY
This Motzoei Shabbos, students in United Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Crown Street from first and second grades gathered for their annual Father and Son Melava Malka.
The program began with fathers and sons learning a Sicha of the Rebbe about coating the Beis Hamikdosh with Gold, and how this Mitzvah applies to our Avoda in the time of Galus.
Rabbi Nissen Brenenson emceed the event. Hatomim Meir Kozlovsky from Kita Beis led the reciting of the Rebbe’s Kapitel.
Rabbi Goldstein spoke about the special “gold” Hashem gave every Yid with which to decorate his personal Mishkan, and the obligation of parents and teachers to help their children and Talmidim discover and recognize their personal gifts of “gold”.
The children and their fathers (and grandfathers) enjoyed beautiful performances from the three Kita Alef classes, and a spellbinding story from master storyteller, Rabbi Tzvi Barnett.
