Photos: Hundreds Turn Out in Support of Ten Yad
Hundreds of women and girls turned out Sunday night in support of Ten Yad, an organization which helps Kallahs. The event was held in the Razag Ballroom in Crown Heights, with a lavish food buffet, an auction viewing capped off by hilarious entertainment.
Following an awards ceremony the crowd was entertained by a hilarious musical production by Miriam Handler which had the cord laughing out loud.
The auction drawing will be held on Monday.

Go you!
Gelernters!

sad
I’ve been living in this community for close to 10 years and I literally do not know a soul in these pictures. I can count on both hands the amount of people I’ve met since moving here. Looks like a great event, for insiders.
That's sad
When I moved to Crown Heights over 30 years ago it didn’t take too long to get to know everyone – it was much smaller then, Lefferts Ave was the last outpost & nobody lived over Eastern Parkway.
Surely you know neighbors? Shul ladies? Remember, many of the guests are from BP, Willy & Flatbush. I wasn’t there (I never go) but I bet at least 50% were “outsiders.” If you really don’t know anyone, it’s time to make friends & get yourself out there!

You too can be an ‘insider!’!!!

Start volunteering and helping others and then you will meet many people.
Complaining and blaming will accomplish nothing
Thanks for a nice evening!
Thank you for offering us such great entertainment – ‘Rivka Leah’ and Danielle Jacobson are riots!! – and Mina’s beautiful tribute to her parents was an added plus. The food was quite delicious, and having the auction drawing today was a smart idea. Thanks!!
Go Gelernter
Mrs Gelernter of blessed memories. Such a special women. Really miss her
Will they be posting winners
What about the winners? The people who contributed to this auction have a right to know
The best yet!
The 4 shadchantas were so perfect for who they represented. But there was true achdus between them.
I really enjoyed. Especially since there were no pesky bored tweens and teens running around and disturbing in the VIP area.
Nu? did I win a prize?
I know I’m a winner – I was there and supported kallahs, and had a great time too.
Looking forward to next year’s event

I agree with no 3, I have been living here for years, and the only people I know are my family members that live here
