Oholei Torah Hosts Book Fair for Hey Teves

In keeping with the Rebbe’s directive to buy Seforim in honor of Hey Teves, the Oholei Torah PTA held a book fair for the students of elementary school. Books, CD’s and other Judaica were available for sale a deeply discounted prices, as well as a display of antique Seforim.

This year’s Hey Teves Auction was dedicated L’ilui Nishmas R’ Reuven ben R’ Mordechai Sirota, who recently passed away. R’ Sirota is the father of Mrs. Tzippy Dalfin, a leading member of the PTA.

Many of the fairs highlights were run by Oholei Torah Talmidim including, Mendel Rapoport, who showed what goes into binding seforim, and Shloime Gerlitzky and Moshe Cohen, from the Zal who Farbrenged with the students about Hey Teves, and saying L’chaim in zechus of Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin.

The event is a project of the PTA, and is coordinated by a large group of dedicated mothers spearheaded by Mrs. Chani Garelik.
