Season Opener: Shaking Off the Winter Rust

It wasn’t pretty in either game with the Kloppers falling to the Mad Hatters and the Red Heifers giving in to the Tribe in Thursday night’s season opener at the St. Johns Recreational Park in Crown Heights.

In game 1 the Kloppers trailed the Hatters in the first five innings and surged ahead in the final two ending the game with a score of 11-8. Game two was much closer with the Heifers and Tribe staying within one run of each other until a fielding error gifted the Tribe the lead and subsequently the win ending the game with a score of 8-6.

    Hi Dovid!

Families should really try to come out and support the teams, especially on Sunday mornings. Great way to spend family time together. Come one, grab some friends, grab some snacks, grab some kids, and lets go!

    See you there!

Based on the pictures that you showed, it seems that you guys need some serious coaching, for example: the catcher should not keep his hand exposed, he should rather keep his hand behind him. Also, the guy who is batting (with the bruins cap on) is holding the bat as if he is going to beat someone, not as if he is trying to hit a ball.
    PS: Have fun!
