Photo Gallery: Moshiach Seudah in 770

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — The last day of Passover (“Acharon Shel Pesach”) is particularly associated with Moshiach and the future redemption. The Baal Shem Tov instituted the custom of partaking of a “Seudas Moshiach” (Moshiachs Meal) on the afternoon of the last day of Passover; in addition to the Matzah eaten at “ Seudas Moshiach”, the Rebbes of Chabad added the custom of drinking four cups of wine, as in the Seder held on Passover’s first days.

The photographs of Yossi Rapoport with his son Mendel are darling. It is wonderful that Yossi attended this seudah, but that he brought his young son to experience it, as well? That’s beautiful.

Fathers — take note: GO to these events; BRING your children to these occasions; EXPERIENCE it with your children. Make Chabad, Lubavitch, and Yiddishkeit REAL.

The comments on this website and others like it are filled with worry, concern, accusations, etc. that the youth in Crown Heights and elsewhere are straying. Perhaps this is the remedy? INVOLVEMENT.

    * I am sure that other fathers attended this seudah (and others) with their children, so please do not take offense that I am only referencing the Rapoports.

Yasher Koach to the Rapoports and the Kramers.
