For a Lubavitcher kid….?
not appropriate
I have been at this trip in past years, and I really feel it to be innaproprate for kids of 11 years old, even twelve and thirteen years old. Many of the children are scared to play, and therefore spend many hours watching their freinds pretend they are enjoying themselves. I can bet that many of the kids playing are hating every minute of it, and are just doing so because of peer pressure.
So many of the campers come out of the arena shaking, crying, and the like.
I hpe this message gets to the camp directors. They do run an amazing camp in which the kids get a great chasidishe hashpoah, and they are very didicated, but this specific trip should be deemed unnecesary.
