Hundreds of men and women gathered in front of 770 to attend the Levaya of Zevi Silver OBM, who passed away Friday.

    Dear Family Silver,

    We were so upset to hear about Zevi.

    Although we hadn’t seen him for about 12 years – he was a ben bayis in our home when he learned in Yeshiva in Manchester, we have many fond memories of when he would come in on a Thursday night and help make challa together with his cousins Moishe and Mendy Brennan and of course eating with us for Shabbos. He was always so cheerful and positive in his hashkofos.

    Distance makes a personal visit difficult at this time so please accept this letter as a rather inadequate substitute.
