    Always gave a gentle smile.

Make it your job to make someone smile,
Each and every day of your lif.

    Say hello!
    Say good morning!
    Say good day!
    Say how are you?
    Offer a ride.
Offer to help carry their bags.
    Sweep your neighbors steps.
    Shovel your neighbors snow.
Dig someone out of the snow.
Help a child cross the street,

BH lubavitch and klal yisroel do great things every day. But now its our turn, here in crown heights, to make a real change.

No person should be able to cross even one street with out getting a smile from a fellow jew.

ONE Just ONE to Just One Person Just one day at a time. SMILE

today is a very sad day…..
hashem should bring moshiach immediately for us to see Moishe again…

  • I never knew him

But it’s clear he was much loved by everyone. What a terrible loss to us all & to his grieving family. Hamokom Yenachem Eschem….

  • befitting...............

i think that quite a few years ago there was a hatzalah coordinator from (i think) flatbush who passed away young, and they used a hatzalah ambulance as a hearse.

does anyone feel that consider his years of devotion this should have been the case here as well to use a school bus rather than a minivan?

  • extremely sad

I met moshe 8 years ago when my oldest son started going to ohelei torah and he was his bus driver. Me and my husband immediately felt a connection with him. He greeted us and my kids like a friend every single day. we moved and he hasn’t been our bus driver for 5 years but not a day went by where he wouldn’t greet me and my kids when he would drive by.5 years ago I was so upset when I heard he was sick, he came to my son’s shalom zachor then even though he was very weak and not doing well at that time. Last year when I would pick my son up from ohelei torah and see him standing by his bus saying hello to each person that passed, I was so thankful that he was better. It was son nice to see him back at his job looking so happy. I am completely broken by this terrible news and so is my family.I don’t know how to comfort my kids who are devastated and trying to comprehend it. standing at the levaya today I see that everyone feels the same. we lost a special person today, crown heights will not be the same. I hope to carry your legacy and be that kind to everyone. To him everyone mattered.

I didnt know him well , but when i was a kid I rode on his bus a few times. He was a very nice guy, and I am sorry to hear this terrible news.

I hope his family and friends will only have joyous occasions to share with the community in the future

  • תפילה

    תפילה למשה

    Tefilah Lemoshe,

The month of the Mabul had just begun,
A Shabbos morning with a heavenly rain and snow,
A holy Neshoma returned to its maker,
The cold was heavy in our hearts…

In the middle of the Torah reading,
While words of the deluge were flowing in our minds,
The shocking news was breaking out,
Reb Moshe, Reb Moshe where are you…

No, No, it can’t be true,
    Reb Moshe, Oy Moshe,
The word of the Torah were echoing far away,
    Tears were flowing without control…

    Oy Moshe, Oy Moshe,
How can your holy presence be gone,
My mind and heart won’t accept the void,
No, No, Moshe, Moshe, please return to us…

So many days lived by your smiles,
The daily sorrow you overcame with grace,
You lived life by uplifting others,
Please, oh please, don’t leave us now…

    Innocent children are sad,
Without the words to comfort them,
You have left us orphans of your holy Neshoma,
Oh Moshe, don’t leave us in grief…

Your holy life touched so many souls,
Sending their little Tzadikim to Yeshiva,
Fathers and mothers relying on your watchful eyes,
Oy, these little Neshomos looked up to you as their angel,
Oh Please, Moshe, continue watching over these children…

    Now Moshe, our protective angel,
The ability to watch over us is giving to you from above,
I will keep you in my heart forever,
    Please watch over us forever…

    To you Moshe I sing…

    תפילה למשה איש האלוקים…
    Tefilah Lemoshe Ish Haelokim…
