Cheder at the Ohel holds pre Lag B’Omer Parade

Cheder at the Ohel held a pre Lag b’Omer parade Friday, in Valley Stream, NY, complete with a police escort and a car playing accapella Chassidic music.

Children marched from their school, down the block, holding posters of different Jewish themes. The 12 pesukim, the laws of kashrus and the 10 mivtziom were some of the themes that the children presented. Kita Dalet even had a drum band. Their enthusiasm was palpable as they marched down the street spreading the light of Torah white wearing their bright orange Great Parade T-shirts.

Next, the Cheder students are looking forward to carrying their energy over to the Great Parade in Crown Heights on Sunday.

Thank you to Rabbi Goldshmid, Shliach of Valley Steam and all the parents who contributed to the parade’s success.
