Montreal Junior Anash’s Nachamu Kumzitz

Members of Montreal’s Junior Anash gathered Motzei Shabbos for their annual Shabbos Nachamu Kumzitz Fargbrengen.

The Farbrengen, held at the home of Eli and Chanie Spalter, was a beautiful evening filled with inspirational stories and heartfelt niggunim.

This function was a part of the Junior Anash of Montreal’s series of events that include Farbrengens, Shiurim, fitness programs and family events.

The Junior Anash was established just one year ago, with the goal of promoting Achdus and creating a feeling of community among the rapidly growing young members of Montreal’s Lubavitch community.

I took this from someone else’s comment on another site. I am reposting it because your trolling really irks me!

Basically you are saying that it “doesn’t look like a farbrengen”, So how do you define a Farbrengen?

    Quote:
As per someone who was there:
“Divrei torah were said, Niggunim were sang, Lechaim’s were said, you’re right, definitely not a farbrengen… because we weren’t drinking hard alcohol so noone got shikur, sorry we’ll fix that next time.”

Secondly if you cared to read the post you’d see that there are inyanei torah that are being conducted as well. For example, at the farbrengen 2 of the participants took upon themselves to have a weekly chavrusa, and the “spirit” is being used to catapult the groups activity even further.

So thank you very much for the backhanded compliment… may your brochos be fulfilled….”

And now in my own words.
It is easy to hide behind your anonymity and find faults in what is being done here if you want.
While other yungeleit get together and play poker or watch a movie on a motzei shabbos, these chevra decided to do things a little differently, they chose to have a hybrid farbrengen/kumzitz, and they call it a kumzitz clearly, they aren’t trying to fool anyone.

But no, you only see beer! OY VEY! how dare they make a lechaim on something other than Vodka, because getting trashed is chasidish! Beer is never acceptable, right? So thank you for showing that no matter what the aspirations, there will always be some anonymous yutz that will try to poke fun and put down what others are doing.
